Ok, so I admit it, when I first started doing this I didn't want to do family session.....why....I'm not so sure lol. There is something about a session with more than one subject though, ESPECIALLY when those people are themselves and have a great time while connecting with one other. So now, a few years later, I've realized how much I truly love capturing connections, whether it be with a whole family, or 2 people in love waiting for their baby to arrive, or the look on a Mom or Dad's face when they look down on that new baby. ♥ For me, the connection can, and often is, the favorite part of an image for me. Here's a few that show what I mean (besides the babies feet lol, they were too cute not to share!) If this family were all just sitting and looking at me and smiling at the camera they wouldn't have the feel to them that they do. :)
These are really good. So the only reason I'm on your website is because one of my teacher's at school had us "google" our name. I'm actually glad I did. Otherwise I wouldn't have seen these photos. It really caught my eye.

agreed. it's not about the imagery. it's about the connection.

I absolutely LOVE these!! THIS is what I want to do too... not the traditional family photos. I hope to one day be able to capture real LIFE as well as you've done here.
