Yep, playing blog catch up again :)  I haven't posted a baby on here in awhile.  I must say that the last few newborns I've had, have really made me work.  BUT even when they aren't cooperating (as anyone with a newborn can tell ya, they definitely run the show lol!) we can still capture some amazing stuff.  This little peanut was another preemie, so tiny still for a couple months old.  

Thanks "W" family for a great afternoon, those fishing shows on TV really brought back some childhood memories for me, fishing with my Dad :)

I absolutely love this one, she looks so tiny compared to her Daddy's thumb! ♥

 

 

 

And Mommy was the champion at nursing while standing up!  And doesn't she look absolutely amazing for just having a baby!!

 

 

Can't you just imagine her playing with Daddy's facial hair when she gets a bit older? :)

Sisters

This family contacted me to capture these girls together before the oldest heads off to her first year of University in the fall.  This is the first "real" teen session I've done and I must say that these girls couldn't have been any more stunning!! They made my job super easy!  It was a gorgeous evening at the Saskatoon farm and things couldn't have went more smoothly.  Here's a few teaser for you guys before I get the gallery up.

When I got the inquiry from this client I was excited as soon as I read their email address.  It was the same @"whatever".com that my parents have and I knew that meant one thing, they were from Yellowknife!! lol.  I lived in Yellowknife for 10 years (5 yrs ago) and it's not too often that you meet up with others who have also lived there.  I thought maybe they knew someone I know up there and contacted me through them but it was complete coincidence.  I did however find out that they were down for a wedding of an old friend of mine from high school!  They know my Dad too hahaha.  What a small world!

We had a wonderful morning hanging out at fish creek park and got some amazing moments captured. Thanks guys for a wonderful time.

Dance....

....like no one's watching!  And that is exactly what this family did.  I LOVED it.  Whenever sweet little 2 yr old "M" was having enough of the camera in her face she danced with her Mommy and Daddy.  I've never seen a 2 yr old dance as well as she did, she mirrored the moves perfectly.  I'm so happy to have been there to experience a little bit of what their life is like and I think some of these images capture them so well.  Thank you guys.

Happy Father's Day!!

Woohoo!  I'm so happy for many reasons!  First being that today is Father's Day and I'm married to the best guy ever.  While I'm sitting here on the computer (while I should be spending time with him) he's outside playing catch with the kids.  He really is an awesome Daddy!  I'm also very happy cause the kids cooperated with me to make a gift for him....of course photography related :P lol.  So off we went friday after school to try to get some good shots....photographer's children are often the hardest to photograph is case you didn't know. :)

I must admit that I think it turned out wicked!  Of course I may be biased since these are my kiddos but I'm so happy with the results.  So after staying up til 4:00am editing friday night (cause I could only work on this while Matt was in bed) and then all afternoon yesterday trying to sync the lyrics with the photos, and then last night staying up 'til 2:00am getting the DVD all prepared and printed I finally got the results I was after!  And the last happy woohoo is because I finally figured out a way to share it with you all!!!  I'd love to hear your thoughts on this and I really hope you can all actually see it!  Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful Daddies out there!!
